Bullying Awareness Week is November 13-19, 2016

Bullying Awareness Week is an annual event to increase awareness about the importance of promoting healthy relationships and preventing bullying.

Everyone has a role to play in creating healthy and respectful relationships – and it takes an ongoing effort to create safe and supportive schools and communities.

“Reach Out, Speak Out.” 

The theme for Bullying Awareness Week 2016 is “Reach Out, Speak Out.” Each day during the school week will have a different focus that you are invited to participate in on social media.Use the hashtag #BAW2016 to share your comments and ideas.

  • Monday, November 14 – What are qualities of healthy relationships?

  • Tuesday, November 15 – How have you impacted or been impacted by reaching out?

  • Wednesday, November 16 – What are your ideas for reaching out to promote healthy relationships?

  • Thursday, November 17 – Where do you go to get help?

  • Friday, November 18 – What groups or clubs in your community enable healthy connections?
