Clearview Public Schools is proud to celebrate and share out a "star" member of our team who is helping our students succeed:
Meet Penny Dahl, one of our Family School Liaison staff in the CARS program!
Penny Dahl has been a Family School Liaison team member at Stettler Elementary School for six (6) years, and prior to that she worked at the Stettler Outreach School. As part of the CARS program (Children and Adolescents being Resilient and Self-Regulating), Penny works directly with students to provide supports for mental health and couselling.
Born in Brandon, MB, she was raised in three provinces— Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. She has been married to Brad for 22 years, where they live on their cattle/grain farm north of Stettler and have 2 daughters.
Penny also enjoys time with her pets, “I’m crazy about animals, especially our cats!”
With a degree in social work, Penny believes that making connections with families is an essential component in reaching the student. Aside from work, Penny teaches women’s groups through the Association of Communities Against Abuse, is involved with Red Willow Agricultural Society, and Stettler Regional Recreation. She enjoys yard work, gardening, is fanatical about seeing 80’s musicians perform, and she loves to spend time with her family!
Thank you Penny for the work you do, and for choosing to be part of the Clearview team!
