Clearview Public Schools is proud to celebrate and share out a "star" member of our team who is helping our students succeed.
Meet Anita Mappin, one of Clearview Transportation’s Star team members. Anita said, “Thirty six years ago I started my career as a school bus driver, never imagining that I would drive for such a long time, but it seems like only yesterday. I have seen many changes in this time but I still take children to and from school every day and watch over them while they are on my bus.”
Anita has been married to Henry (Skip) for 42 years and have 3 grown children, 3 granddaughters and 2 step grandchildren. Together Skip and Anita have a mixed farming operation near Byemoor and run a cow herd of around 100 cows.
They help out with the SLW Ag Society, 4-H and the Byemoor Community Club in a volunteer capacity. Camping is a favorite summer pastime between haying and harvest. Anita enjoys gardening and has a small greenhouse for fresh tomatoes and cukes. Farming takes up the rest of their spare time.
Thank you Anita for the work you do, and for being part of the Clearview team!
