Clearview Public Schools is proud to celebrate and share out a "star" member of our team who is helping our students succeed.
Meet Wendy Coppock, Clearview’s Early Learning Coordinator. Wendy was born in Manitoba spending her childhood years in Langruth, MB, Williams Lake, BC, Fort McMurray and Camrose. She completed her post secondary education at Camrose Lutheran College and the U of A., starting her teaching career in Altario, AB for 3 years. Wendy arrived at the County of Stettler in 1990 teaching at Botha and Waverly Schools, was principal at Halkirk School, then for 20 years at Gus Wetter as teacher and Vice Principal, and this year she is enjoying being a part of the Learning Supports team at Central Office.
Wendy and Tom have been married 24 years farming a mixed operation north of Castor - grain and cattle and they have three boys - Kelly, Riley and Cutler. They recently became empty nesters as their youngest went off to Olds College. “I have been kept busy for the last twenty some years raising a family and I think I have seen every arena and ball diamond as well as school gym in east and west Central Alberta and afar. I enjoy camping at our lake lot, singing in the Castor choir as well as Cantus choir and reading a good book.”
Thank you Wendy for the work you do, and for being part of the Clearview team!
