#GetLoud about what mental health really is!
Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is asking Canadians to join them and GET LOUD for Mental Health Week from May 6th to May 12th.
GET LOUD by taking action and using your voice to raise awareness and build support for those around you and for yourself. It means speaking out against the discrimination and stigma directed at people with mental illnesses.
Mental health is about more than mental illness. It’s more than being happy all the time. It’s about feeling good about who you are, having balance in your life, and managing life’s highs and lows. Everyone deserves to feel well, whatever their mental health experience. And we all need a support system to lean on.
Clearview Public Schools, under the guidance and support from the CARS Mental Health Capacity Building Team and the Family School Liaison Workers, are providing various activities throughout Mental Health Week to help promote mental health awareness.
