Clearview announces new principal at Botha School

The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Pat Martin as Principal of Botha School beginning in 2019-20.

Mr. Peter Barron, Superintendent, comments, “We are pleased to have Pat move to this new role. We believe her passion for leadership, teaching, and extensive experience will make the transition a smooth one.  We are always striving for a First Choice Learning Environment, and believe Pat will be a great fit for Botha School and its community of Botha.”

Pat graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Education.   She has been the principal of Brownfield School for the past 8 years and a teacher for 26 years before that.

Professionally, Pat is a strong advocate for and supporter of rural education.   She believes that every child can succeed and that it is our job as educators to help each students reach their full potential.

Pat states, “I am excited about my new position and look forward to working with the students, staff, parents and community of Botha.  I love being part of a small rural community. Together we can build a community of lifelong learners.”
