Clearview Public Schools Evacuates Coronation School Due to Gas Line Leak

We are pleased to inform you that the gas line leak at Coronation School has been fully resolved, and the situation is now under control. Thanks to the swift response of emergency services, the area has been cleared and deemed safe. Regular classes will resume tomorrow, Thursday, September 19. We appreciate your patience and cooperation throughout the evacuation process and are grateful for the support of our school community.

Clearview Public Schools evacuated Coronation School in Coronation, Alberta, this afternoon following the discovery of a gas line leak on the property. The evacuation was conducted promptly and safely, with all students and staff being moved to Coronation Hall as a precautionary measure.
We are pleased to report that all students and staff are safe. Bus drivers were notified to pick up students from Coronation Hall, and parents of students who live in town were asked to pick up their children directly from the hall.
Clearview Public Schools worked closely with emergency services to address the situation. We kindly request that the public stay away from the school until the area has been deemed safe and cleared by authorities.
The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority, and we will continue to provide updates as the situation develops.
