FREE Matinee at the Jewel Theatre on February 13, 1:00 p.m.

During Teachers’ Convention, on Thursday, February 13, 2020, the animated movie Up is presented by Clearview Public Schools’ C.A.R.S. Program for free at the Jewel Theatre. In keeping with this year's Pink Shirt Day theme "Lift Each Other Up", this movie is a heart-warming illustration that shows the real adventure of life is the relationship we have with other people.

Up is the story of elderly retired balloon salesman and widower, Carl Fredrickson, who finally embarks on his childhood dream adventure by tying thousands of helium balloons to his house and floating "up" and toward the legendary Paradise Falls somewhere in South America. The plot thickens when an 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell happens upon Carl's porch just as his house takes flight.
