RE: School Bus Accident

UPDATE: March 13, 2024 @ 10am  

We want to inform our community that all individuals involved have been assessed by EMS professionals.  As a precautionary measure, our students have been transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

We deeply appreciate the swift response of our emergency services in addressing the situation.  Safety and well-being remain our top priority.

Good Morning parents and families.

An accident occurred this morning, March 13, 2024, near Castor, involving a Clearview School Division bus and another vehicle. Students from Gus Wetter School and Theresetta Catholic School (East Central Catholic)  were on board at the time, at this time we do not have any further information and will provide an update when information is available. All families involved have been contacted. 

Gus Wetter School will have mental health support available for students and staff.

Both school divisions will continue to collaborate and work together to ensure the safety of all students.
