Clearview is Pleased to Announce Christine Peterson as New Big Valley Principal

Clearview is pleased to announce that Christine Peterson will be the new Principal of Big Valley School, to begin at the start of the 2023-24 school year.

“I am very pleased to have Christine Peterson joining Clearview Public Schools as Principal of Big Valley School,” says Scot Leys, Superintendent Clearview Public Schools. “Her energy and enthusiasm, as well as a wealth of experience will be a great addition to the school.  We are lucky to have such a qualified individual joining our team and I look forward to working closely with Christine to ensure student success and community involvement in Big Valley!”

Peterson comes to Clearview from High Level, AB where she is currently the Assistant Principal, Inclusive Education Coordinator and Wellness Teacher at Spirit of the North Community School.  Peterson has a well-rounded teaching portfolio having held the roles of Assistant Principal, Academic Counsellor, Junior High and High School teacher at High Level Public School.  Peterson brings a familiarity to differentiated instruction having taught courses at the academic, general knowledge and employability levels including math, science, biology, social studies, english, career & life management and legal studies.
