Clearview Public Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Mauricio Reyes as Secretary Treasurer, effective August 9, 2023. 

“We are very pleased to welcome Mauricio to the Clearview leadership team,” says Scot Leys, Clearview Superintendent.  “Mauricio is a great choice for this important position as he brings with him extensive financial experience.  We are excited to have someone with this depth of knowledge in the public, educational and municipal government sectors to help guide our Division budget and financial operations.”

Reyes is a public sector professional with over 15 years of leadership experience and holds a Chartered Public Accountant designation, a Certified Asset Management Professional designation, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree.  Prior to his new role with Clearview, Mauricio served as the Director of Corporate Services for the Town of Drumheller.  Reyes has also held the positions of Senior Manager of Financial Services for the City of Lacombe, Senior Financial Analyst for the City of Grande Prairie and Assistant Secretary Treasurer for the Holy Family Catholic Regional Division No. 37, making him well versed in asset management, budgeting process and financial reporting.
