Clearview Appoints New Assistant Superintendent of Learning Services

Clearview Public Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Myranda Shepherd as the new Assistant Superintendent of Learning Services, effective August 11, 2025. 

Myranda’s leadership path has reflected a deep commitment to growth and change. Prior to joining Clearview, she spent time as a consultant with Alberta Education and Principal of Bashaw School. Over the past five years, she has served as Principal of Wm. E Hay Stettler Secondary Campus and Stettler Outreach Campus, making a lasting impact on students, staff and families through her passion for learning, innovation, and student success.

 “I'm excited to welcome Myranda Shepherd as our new Assistant Superintendent of Learning Services,” said Superintendent Scot Leys. “I want to sincerely thank Myranda for her outstanding leadership at Wm. E. Hay over the past five years. She brings a wide range of experiences and a deep commitment to students and families—qualities that will undoubtedly allow her to thrive in this new role. I look forward to all that she will bring to this next chapter with Clearview.” In her new role, Myranda will work closely with schools across the division to support teaching and learning, strengthen inclusive education, and guide system-wide initiatives aimed at improving student achievement.

Hay Stettler Secondary Campus and Stettler Outreach Campus over the past five years,” said Shepherd. “I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to support the incredible youth who walk through our doors each day. I have always believed in the power of continued growth, both personally and within the schools I serve. I am proud of the strong culture of learning at Wm. E. Hay and confident that it will continue to thrive under new leadership and fresh perspectives. What makes Clearview Public Schools exceptional is its unwavering focus on student learning and the commitment to creating high-quality learning environments for every student.
