During their visit, the Clearview team had the opportunity to observe Question Period and participate in a dedicated one-on-one meeting with MLA Nate Horner, representative for the Drumheller-Stettler constituency.

The discussion focused on Clearview’s key priorities and challenges, including:

  • The need for capital investment in the Stettler Complex (redevelopment and modernization of aging school facilities)

  • Ongoing funding concerns due to declining enrolment and rising operational costs

  • Clearview’s innovative initiatives, such as the Rural Return Service Bursary and Community Initiatives Grant program

The Clearview team expressed their appreciation for MLA Horner’s continued support of rural education and emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration with the province to ensure students in our communities have access to high-quality learning environments.

Thank you to MLA Horner for taking the time to meet with our team and for his commitment to supporting education in rural Alberta.
