Congratulations to Our Edwin Parr Nominee & Finalist!

Clearview Public Schools is thrilled to announce that the Board of Trustees has selected Rayanna Ramsay, a dedicated educator from Wm. E. Hay Stettler Secondary Campus, as our division finalist for the prestigious Alberta School Boards Association (ASBA) Edwin Parr Award!
This award recognizes outstanding first-year teachers who demonstrate excellence in teaching and a commitment to student success. Rayanna’s passion for education, innovative teaching methods, and ability to inspire and engage her students have made her a standout among new educators.
We also want to extend our congratulations to Sydney Kortubash from Gus Wetter School, who was also nominated for this award. Being nominated is an incredible honor and reflects the dedication and talent of our new teachers across Clearview.
What is the Edwin Parr Award?
The Edwin Parr Award is presented annually by the Alberta School Boards Association (ASBA) to recognize exceptional first-year teachers in Alberta. School divisions across the province select their top nominee, and each ASBA zone selects one recipient to be recognized at the ASBA Fall General Meeting Awards Celebration.
