The Caring and Resilient Students (CARS) program offers targeted groups & universal programming to students within the school setting to foster social-emotional development. Universal programming is our primary focus as we believe everyone can benefit from mental health awareness and education. Our programs focus on topics such as social skills, emotional regulation, self-esteem, grief support, coping skills, family transitions, mental health, and more.
Caring And Resilient Students is part of the Mental Health Capacity Building Project & Clearview School Division: and aims to promote positive mental health in children, youth, and families and support individuals in the community who interact with children & youth.
The CARS Program offers universal and targeted program support to students within Clearview.
Its emphasis is on Mental Health promotion and prevention while also providing necessary screening, brief intervention support and relapse management.
